Key Features:

• Expands the switching capabilities of the PSM over five additional shelves (for a total of six shelves)
• Provides a separate status indicator for the upstream link (LINK A), and the downstream link (LINK B)
• Provides an interface to the access modules on the expansion shelf through the ECU
• Has software that is field-upgradable, using YModem or TFTP applications (does not affect service if the unit is equipped for APS)
• Provides alarm status to NMA, the SNMP, or both
