The new mobile cell site switch/gateway solution is the M1500 for 4G/5G service, DASAN Zhone Solution(DZS) M1500 is a 1U height & 10 inches width chassis outdoor installed switch. M1500 is optimized for mobile small cell coverage as expanding the legacy networks architecture. With central office solution(like V8204), 5G distribution RAN architecture target in 5G mid-haul solution, easily extended from XGS-PON ONU as cascading architecture, even clock hierarchy can afford to delivery as a mobile device through 10GE interfaces in M1500.

Service Scenario
It provides the optical 6-ten gigabit ethernet ports (6 x 10GE fixed) and fan-less architecture. Moreover, M1500 supports Time Clock Synchronization(1588v2). The M1500 is compact in size, 19 inches in width and 10 inches in width, with a back-to-back design, all ports, and operation works in front. The M1500 provides DC power input on the front panel with the DC power module mounted in the chassis.
