The RPT-9000DH Hybrid is a dual-band, carrier-class cellular repeater and bi-directional amplifier (BDA) supporting 2G, 3G, 4G, 5G, GSM, CDMA, WCDMA, EDGE, EVDO, HSPA+, UMTS, LTE*, iDEN, TDMA, and AMPS technologies.
The RPT-9000DH expands cellular coverage without the need to install a new cellular tower. In many applications, it can reduce the need for new tower installations by up to 90%. Depending on terrain and network conditions, coverage can be extended up to approximately 80 km (50 miles) or more** from the nearest cellular tower. When using the integrated hybrid fiber optic capability, the distance between the Master and Slave units can be up to 20 km (12 miles) over single-mode fiber.
The integrated Hybrid RF-over-Fiber technology allows RF signals to be transported over fiber optic cable to a remote coverage antenna, making it possible to extend cellular service around large obstacles such as mountains, hills, and canyons.
Typical applications include providing coverage to valleys and RF shadow areas, rural communities, underground tunnels, large buildings, campuses, emergency response locations, and virtually any area with weak or non-existent cellular reception.

Long-Distance, Bidirectional Coverage
The RPT-9000DH Hybrid extends cellular service up to 80 km (50 miles) or more** while providing complete bidirectional voice and data communications. Users enjoy the same cellular services they receive directly from the carrier, including voice calls, SMS messaging, email, and Internet access, with little or no difference in functionality.
Support for Multiple Cellular Providers
The RPT-9000DH Hybrid can simultaneously extend the coverage of multiple cellular providers. If the donor antenna receives signals from more than one carrier, the unit will regenerate and repeat each provider operating within the supported frequency band.
Because the RPT-9000DH is carrier-agnostic, it retransmits only the licensed cellular frequencies it receives, ensuring subscribers continue using their existing carrier's services. For installations where multiple carrier towers are located in different directions, optional antenna configurations are available to optimize reception.
Reach Areas Where Traditional Repeaters Can't
Not every installation has a clear line of sight to the serving cellular tower. Hills, mountains, canyons, and other terrain can block RF signals, making conventional repeater installations ineffective.
The RPT-9000DH Hybrid overcomes these obstacles by transporting RF signals over single-mode armored fiber optic cable between the Master unit (located near the donor antenna) and the Slave unit (located at the coverage area). This RF-over-Fiber technology allows reliable cellular coverage to be extended into areas where service was previously unavailable.
A Better Alternative for Remote Connectivity
Providing reliable communications in rural, underground, or difficult-to-reach locations can be challenging.
