Key Features:
- Expands the switching capabilities of the PSM over five additional shelves (for a total of six shelves)
- Provides a separate status indicator for the upstream link (LINK A), and the downstream link (LINK B)
- Provides an interface to the access modules on the expansion shelf through the ECU
- Has software that is field-upgradable, using YModem or TFTP applications (does not affect service if the unit is equipped for APS)
- Provides alarm status to NMA, the SNMP, or both
